Project 2B - Interpretive Centre
The interpretive centre will serve two purposes:
▪ To provide a physical point of reference with visual significance that keeps alive the culture/history/
memory/essence of the site
▪ To provide accommodation to house and display relevant material and interpretive material for public
access and information.
Solutions relying heavily on landscape are encouraged. Visitors should be inspired and informed in ways that
somehow express the spirit of the place (genius loci).

Reflection
Coming to the final part of Project 2, the design is more detailed up. To be honest, I was a bit stuck when coming to this phase, I felt like nothing more can be modified. After listening to the comments of external panels and internal panel, I need to work more on structural part and include passive design strategies that merge well with my design. Lastly, I am grateful for my tutor, Mr. Fadzlee for his guidance and my coursemates. This semester was conducted online and it is better with their accompany and help.
