For Project 2 this semester, we will be designing a Neighbourhood Market Food Court.  We will be working on two sites in different neighbourhoods of Bangi Selangor. Site A sits in the old town of Bangi while Site B is in Seksyen 1 At the moment both sites contain wet markets. Project 2 should be an academic project to revitalize the site and existing program .For thepurpose of the exercise, it will be assumed that the existing structures on site will be demolished to make way for a new integrated neighbourhood market and food court. For Project 2 each tutorial group will be designing for one designated site. Site Analysis Response establishes an understanding of the context for Project 2. In organised groups, we will conduct a site visit where we record, observe, and analyse data informing the physical and social dimensions of the context. Method used in data collection may include sketches, diagrams, photography, videography, audio recordings, secondary site data from various local authorities, and simple interviews. We will identify the intangible qualities together with the physical inventory that shape the character of the site. From the analysis, we will develop design response to initiate their Project 2 Neighbourhood Market Food Court.
