| My Affable Hometown | Infographic Pamphlet

Project 2 A

Individual Task 

Project Brief

1. An a4 size with an appropriate thickness fold out pamphlet (maximum 10 pages) . NO loose A4 cartridge/printing paper.

2.Give a title to the township, example :  “My Nostalgic hometown” in Subang Jaya

3.Front Cover -provide  own illustration of respective township with the title

    Back Cover - name, id, batch, module and photo

4.All info should be in info-graphical manner with diagrams and descriptions. Images can be printed but should not exceed 20% of         overall pamphlet.

5. Any medium of colouring

 

PAMPHLET CONTENT : 

 

A) Selected Township / City

 

- Key plan,

- Location plan (at least an A4 size info-graphic map )

- Site plan (at least an A4 size info-graphic map) of  township to be part of the introduction (not to scale).

- Background and history of your township

- Significant component/elements or landmark of your township

- Main accessibility to your township

 

 

B) Zoom in Area in Township / City

 

From the chosen area/areas in your township, illustrate through infographic plan/perspective/section which are relevant and elaborate the tangible and intangible components below:

 

Tangible components :

 

- Zoning of different category/typology of buildings (describe the building style)

-Road circulation & transportation

-Existing infrastructure or facilities

-Public space *if available

Intangible components :

 

- Culture at the area

- Activity at the area

- Safety at the area

Outcome

Reflection 

I’ve learnt more detailed information of my hometown than before in this assignment. Besides, I realized the beauty and uniqueness of my hometown. I’ve learnt to do infographic map in this project and think of the improvements I can make to my hometown.
